While I’m left with several unanswered questions, this book offered a good overview on many of the current, popular recovery modalities and the integrity of the science supporting them (or not).
Overall I took away that ...
1) Sleep needs to be taken WAY more seriously as a critical nonnegotiable recovery tool whether or not you are an “athlete“.
2) What you currently swear by probably has no science to back it up. But if you think you feel better and it’s not breaking the bank, go for it!
Next on the reading agenda ... The Rock Warrior's Way: Mental Training for Climbers.
